Roadmap in progress

Federal compliance roadmap items described on this page are in progress and are not yet certified, authorized, or independently assessed. Current statements about FedRAMP, FIPS 140-2, and NIST 800-53 describe intended alignment work, not completed status.

ISO 17025 Accreditation

Cerium Laboratories, LLC is an ISO 17025 accredited analytical laboratory. Our laboratory work is built around validated methods, documented quality checks, and traceable data that support reliable materials analysis.

Our accreditation supports a quality-first operating model for sample preparation, instrument operation, data review, and reporting.

Data Handling & Confidentiality

Customer samples, results, and project details are handled as confidential information. We use secure transfer practices for sensitive materials and reports, apply retention practices appropriate to the work performed, and can support nondisclosure agreements when a project requires them.

Access to customer information is limited to personnel with a business need to support analysis, reporting, support, or account management.

Cerium LIMS Platform

Cerium LIMS is a secure SaaS portal for submitting samples, tracking work, and accessing laboratory results. The platform is designed with encryption in transit and at rest, role-based access, and administrative controls that help customers manage their workflows.

Compliance Roadmap (Federal & Commercial)

Cerium Laboratories is working toward FedRAMP authorization and the use of FIPS 140-2 validated cryptography to better serve federal and commercial customers with elevated security requirements.

Our roadmap is designed to align with NIST 800-53 controls as we mature policies, procedures, technical safeguards, and evidence collection for future assessment activities.

Quality System

Our quality system emphasizes continual improvement, internal review, audits, corrective action, and documented follow-through. These practices help us improve laboratory operations and technology delivery over time.

We review processes and findings to identify gaps, address root causes, and strengthen the systems customers rely on for analytical data and digital workflows.
